Can somebody send a can-opener to me? It is the only camera of my collection which I do not manage to open!
Behind of this camera, it is registered in leather: “Made in England by Houghton-Butcher Mfg Co Ltd London”.
Like the two firms, Houghton and Butcher, amalgamated by associating their names only on January 1, 1926, one can conclude that this camera was built after this date. The series of Carbine had been launched by Butcher, before fusion and is extinct before the end of the 30s. This model 10 or 12 (the note is common to both models without specifying of them the differences) fontionne with roll film of format 6,5 X 11 cm.
